During the month of September, the American Sleep Apnea Association (ASAA) and numerous partners will launch a month-long campaign to raise awareness of sleep disorders, to educate people on the importance of sleep and to promote healthy sleep habits.

This program will use the power of social media to bring together people facing health challenges and advocates to form a powerful community that will support and comfort one another and create groundbreaking research and advocacy programs to change how research is conducted and funded.

Participation is easy:

  1. Take your bedhead photo and post on your social media using #ASAAbedhead and #sleeptember.  Don’t forget to tag us so they’ll appear on our page too! #MillenniumSleepLab
  2. Tag friends and family and challenge them to do the same.
  3. Pledge to sleep a little longer during Sleeptember.

The ASAA will offer a prize* for the #ASAAbedhead selfie with the most likes!

Plus we will “retweet” and “share” our favorites to our social medias .
